FMD update
Certain areas of Europe have reported cases of Foot and Mouth disease, although there are currently no cases in the UK, the Government are implementing measures to help prevent this from happening.
Foot-and-mouth disease is a highly contagious viral infection impacting cloven-hoofed animals such as cattle, sheep, and pigs, though it poses no threat to humans. Symptoms include fever and blisters in the mouth and near the hoof.
